Welcome!
Hello and welcome! Whatever leads you in search of a therapeutic relationship has a place here. I offer a very accepting therapeutic experience, creating a safe space for you to share your internal and external landscapes and challenges.
If you decide you would like to try working with me, I will offer opportunties to explore and integrate multiple sources of connection, solace, and understanding in the context of the more traditional therapeutic practices listed above. For many people, these sources include experiences of nature or a variety of different types of spiritual and religous experiences. Some people also want to address wounds they have experienced in these areas (e.g. climate change grief or religious trauma).
The overall philosphy for my practice is that, whatever your identity, you deserve to experience a reduction in psychological suffering, an increase in personal ease, and greater empowerment to be an active creator in and of your life. Reduction in personal suffering increases the likelihood that people will act in ways that are benevolent towards others and the world as a whole.
“Whatever we do to care for true self is, in the long run, a gift to the world.” Parker Palmer
We all take our own individual paths on the way to our destinies. My offer is to provide a container where you can explore what is and is not working; openly reflect on and develop what you need to cope with your challenges; and enhance expression of your of true self.

Other Life Experiences
I began my own mental health healing path when I was in my mid 20s–joining a men’s group. During my journey I have worked with a number of different practitioners in different modalities. Time in nature and spiritual experiences have been an important part of my healing journey and my path has included several wilderness fasting experiences.
My significant domestic relationships have always included the joys and challenges of blended families–including my family of origin.
I recently retired from a career working with state, Federal, and tribal governments, along with constituents, to coordinate the development of natural resource policies. My previous professional experiences included working in agriculture and fisheries biology–as well as a few entrepreneurial endeavors.
